The death has occurred of:
Michael Kelly
The family of the late Michael Kelly wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to family, friends and neighbours who sympathised with them following their recent sudden bereavement.
We wish to convey our gratitude to all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters or who telephoned, texted or emailed. We are so appreciative of all the prayers offered for Michael.
We wish to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff of Draperstown Surgery, the District Nursing Team, the Pharmacists and staff of O’Kanes’s Chemist and the wonderful carers from the Trackars service who all looked after Michael so well. We will be forever grateful for the compassion, care and kindness Michael received.
Thank you to Fr. Madden, Fr.McGirr, Fr. Downey and Fr. O’Neill who attended the house and celebrated Michael’s Requiem Mass. Thanks to Patricia Herron for the beautiful music during Mass. Thanks also to the Sacristan and church stewards. Thank you to all who followed the Mass on the parish webcam. We were very touched to see so many line the cortège route and stand outside the Holy Rosary Church to pay their respects, including Michael’s teammates from Draperstown Celtic.
We would like to thank Sperrin Bakery and others who sent food to the house and thanks to all who helped in any way.
Sincere thanks to Kevin Murray Funeral Directors for the sensitive, dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Thanks also to the gravedigger.
It is impossible to thank everyone individually but please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt thanks.
Michael’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in the Holy Rosary Church on Friday 16th July 2021 and may be viewed on the Ballinascreen Parish webcam.
Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
