130 Davagh Road, Broughderg, 26th March 2024
We the friends and family of the late Michael R.I.P, wish to acknowledge our sincere thanks to all who sympathised and supported us during our recent sad bereavement.

Thank you to all those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, phone calls, messages online, called at our homes, left flowers and attended the Requiem Mass and burial and travelled long distances to pay their final respects.

Our heartfelt thanks to all who were present at Michael's removal from Rivervale Nursing Home, Dromore. To all that followed him from Phillip's Funeral Parlor on his final journey home to Broughderg and all his friends, family and neighbours who along with Fr Devine were there to meet him at Our Lady of the Wayside for his overnight repose in the chapel.

We wish to express special thanks to Fr Devine for all his kindness, support and beautiful funeral Mass and kind words. Thanks also to the Sacristan, Eucharistic Minister, Altar Servers, as well as Jacqueline and Eamon for the beautiful singing and music (and for all who helped in anyway).

Thanks also to Phillip Morris and Michael McGuigan for their dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Special word of thanks to the grave diggers for preparing Michael's final resting place and to those who helped carry the coffin in very challenging weather conditions.

Our thanks to the management and staff of the Mill Wheel, Dunamore for the beautiful meal afterwards. We would like to give a special mention and heartfelt thank you to Helena, Teresa, all the staff and residents of Rivervale Nursing Home Dunamore, for all their care, kindness and compassion they gave to Michael whilst in their care and the kindness and support to us all especially in Michael's last few days and in his passing. It was really very much appreciated. Also thank you to all medical professionals and staff within Fairfields Nursing Home, Westlands Rehab, Lay Medical and Boots Chemist, Cookstown. To Altnagelvin, Antrim and Craigavon Hospitals. (Also all the ambulance staff.) Sincere thanks to all the carers and medical professionals who helped to look after Michael whilst at home.

We also want to take this opportunity to say a special thank you to all of Michael's life long friends, neighbours and family who called at his home all the time and for all of you who were always at the end of the phone when he called and needed something done or fixed anytime of day or night throughout the years. You all know who you are and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.

Michael's Month's Mind Mass will be held on Sunday, 21st April, at 11.30am in Our Lady of the Wayside Church, Broughderg.
