The death has occurred of:
Molly (Mary Brigid) McKeown (née Hughes)
We, the family of the late Molly McKeown, wish to express our sincere appreciation to all who sympathised with us following the loss of our much-loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
We would like to thank the many relatives, friends, and neighbours who called at the family home, attended the funeral mass and burial, and sent mass cards, sympathy cards, and messages of support. Your kindness and generosity have been a great comfort to us.
A special word of thanks to the staff at Avila Care Home, Bessbrook, for the care and kindness shown to Mummy during her time there. Thanks also to Dr McGuigan, who attended to our mother with great care and professionalism.
Sincere thanks to Fr Murphy, Fr Larkin, Fr Anthony Moffett and Deacon Philip for the pastoral support given to our mother in her later years and for celebrating such a personal and fitting Requiem Mass. Thanks also to Kathleen Moore and Colm Murphy for providing such beautiful music and thank you to the sacristan, Margaret McGovern
Many thanks to Liz and her team at John Doyle Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional service they provided during this difficult time. Thanks also to Pa Joe McConville for the much-needed taxi service.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all who helped at the wake and funeral and for our entire family, who were supported during this sad time.
Molly’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Brigid’s Church, Carrickananney on Sunday, 5th July 2026, at 10 am.
Sacred Heart of Jesus I place all my trust in thee.
