The death has occurred of:
Mona O'DONNELL LESTRADE
Mona O'Donnell Lestrade, of New Orleans Louisiana, U.S.A. formerly of 2 Elmwood St Derry, died Sunday 31st March 2019.
She was the dearly beloved wife of 57 years to the late Jules Joseph Lestrade. She was a devoted mother to their 3 children Monica Field (Robert), John Patrick Lestrade (Patricia) and Casey Brown (Michael), loving grandmother to Gavin Field (Shamaila), Jim Field, Sean Field, Patrick Field (Melissa), Erin Lestrade (Johnny Weaver), Sean Lestrade and Michaela Rose Brown and great-grandmother to Ronan and Ciaran Weaver and Aidan Field.
She is also Survived by her loving sister Margaret “Peggy” O’Donnell. and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews in Derry and many friends on both sides of the Atlantic. She was pre-deceased by her parents James “Jimmy” O’Donnell and Roseanne Howard O'Donnell, her brothers Hugh, Seamus and Patrick O'Donnell and her sisters Mary Sloan, Kathleen Henderson and Baby Aileen O’Donnell.
Her remains will lie in repose in the Longtower Chapel from 3.00p.m. on Thursday May 16th until the Funeral Mass on Friday May 17th at 10.00am. Interment Afterwards in the City Cemetery Derry.
Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
