The family of the late Myrtle Kenwell – Roy, Brian, Gail, Anne, Valerie, and Georgina – along with their families, wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all those who offered support and sympathy following the recent passing of their much-loved mother and grandmother on Friday 9th May 2025.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who sent messages of condolence, sympathy cards, and to those who attended the funeral or helped in any way. Your kind words and gestures have brought us great comfort at this difficult time.

A special word of thanks is extended to Reverend John McClenaghan for his prayerful guidance, pastoral support, and for conducting such a fitting and comforting funeral service, and to Reverend William Jefferies for his prayers and service at the family home. We also wish to thank Mr. Timothy Glenn for his beautiful music, and for playing and singing our mother’s favourite hymns with such care and sensitivity. Thanks to the Mothers' Union (St John’s Parish Church, Fivemiletown) for providing refreshments following the service and the gravedigger, George.

We are sincerely thankful to the staff of Ward 1, the Palliative Care team, Ward 5 Stroke Unit, and Dr. Kara and his team in Respiratory at the South West Acute Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Myrtle and to us as a family.

Our gratitude also goes to Marcus Madill Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.

It is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation. Our hearts are broken - until we meet again Granny K.
