Nellie McELHINNEY (née McColgan)
The family of the late Nellie McElhinney (nee McColgan) of 4 Grainan Drive, Belmont, eldest daughter of the late Lawrence and Violet McColgan, Bleachgreen Ardmore wish to thank all those who sympathised with us on the death of our mum. Thanks to all those who came to the wake, sent cards and flowers and those who attended the funeral.
We would like to thank Fr McCaughey and Fr Mongan for providing a beautiful requiem mass and for calling to see mum in her last few days.
A heartfelt thanks to all the carers especially Marie, Collette, Naomi, Kathleen and Helen for calling everyday for the last few years, they provided so much kindness, care and compassion.
Thanks also to all the staff in Ward 40 Altnagelvin Hospital for taking care of our mum.
Mum's Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick's Church, Pennyburn on Wednesday 27th December at 7pm.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
