We, the family of the late Noeleen English (Harding Street) would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised and supported us through our recent loss.
A sincere thank you to those who called at our home, helped during the wake, brought food and made tea, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, floral tributes and made donations in lieu of flowers to Nazareth House Primary School and the Long Tower Church.
We are very grateful of the kind friends and neighbours who helped in so many ways.
A special thanks to Pat Kennedy from Kennedy’s takeaway and Cloisters for the generous donation of food during the wake. Also, to Cassidy’s for the refreshments after the funeral.
Thanks to the staff at A&E and ward 41 at Altnagelvin hospital for their dedication and professionalism given to Noeleen.
Thanks to Hugh P and Maria Doherty for their beautiful music, to the readers and those who brought gifts to the altar and to Fr. Gerard Mongan and Fr. Patrick Lagan and all who helped with the funeral mass.
A special thanks to Kieran and Noeleen at W.J. O’Brien funeral directors for the dignified way they carried out the funeral arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this will be a token of our appreciation and gratitude to everyone for all your generosity and support at this difficult time.
Noeleen’s month’s mind mass will be celebrated in Long Tower Church on Monday 20th July 2026 @ 7.30pm. All welcome.
