Acknowledgement

The family and partner of the late Noeleen O’Kane, 5 Lios Na Greine Burnfoot and formerly of Glenbank Road Derry, wish to express their sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised and supported them in their bereavement of the beautiful Noeleen. We want to thank those who wrote tributes, newspaper articles, sent letters, Mass or sympathy cards, the many social media messages, flowers, donations to the Foyle Hospice and to those who attended the wake or funeral mass in person or online via the webcam link.

We were surrounded by love and support for which we will be forever grateful.

Thank you to everyone who came to the house, brought food, photographs and helped us throughout the wake in sharing your memories of Noeleen with us.

A Special thanks to Jamm catering Richmond Centre.

Thank you to everyone from Unison and Ardnashee College for providing a guard of honour at Noeleen’s funeral, you all did her proud.

A Sincere thanks to Father Diggin St. Aengus’ Chapel Burt for the beautiful funeral Mass, to Sinead Crossan (Ardnashee College), Noreen Robinson (Unison) and Kevin Keay for their touching poems, speeches and eulogy for Noeleen, you all gave Noeleen outstanding tributes. Thank you to Fidelma McNamee for arranging the beautiful music. Thank you to Sarah, Ciara, Rory and Eugene for reading at the mass.

Thank you to Charmaine at Big Moo Design for the order of service booklets.

We wish to express our gratitude to all the those who cared for Noeleen throughout her short illness: Dr Devlin Quayside Medical, the district nurses, the respiratory ward & Oncology team in Altnagelvin , with a special mention to nurse Heather. In particular we want to thank the exceptional staff at the Foyle Hospice in Derry who looked after Noeleen in her final weeks, you all went above and beyond for Noeleen and our family every single day.

To Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors, for the dignified and courteous manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements, the grave attendants and Molly Malones for the food and refreshments after Noeleen’s funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Have you considered?
