The death has occurred of:
Noel Heaney
We, the partner Pauline and family of the late Noel Heaney, Carrogs Rd, Newry, would like to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all those who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
Firstly, we are deeply grateful for the exceptional medical care Noel received. Our heartfelt thanks go to the staff of The Royal Victoria Hospital, Daisy Hill and the local community nursing team and the dedication and support of Dr. Barrett and Dr. Grant and the District Nursing Team during Noel’s last days was invaluable. A word of thanks to Marie Curie and the Hospice who provided comfort and support to Noel during his final nights.
We also offer our sincere thanks to our extended family, friends and neighbours who attended the wake and funeral, it was comforting to hear Noel spoken of with such warmth and regard.
A special thank you to very Rev. Monsignor Connolly for his kindness, for ministering to Noel at home and for celebrating his Requiem Mass with such reverence. Our gratitude also goes to Francie who also attended to Noel over the last months, and to Eunice, Christine and Lana for the beautiful music and singing.
Thanks to our friends who helped with parking and our heartfelt thanks to Cathal McAnulty for the professional and dignified way he arranged Noel’s Funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement serves as an expression of our deep appreciation.
Noel’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 10th May at 7.30pm in St. Mary’s Church, Burren.
May he rest in peace.
