December 3, 2016, (suddenly), at home, in Saintfield, dearly-loved wife of Bill and much-loved mother of Matthew and Kathryn, loved sister of Karl, Helen and Ann.

A celebration of Norma's life will be held on Thursday 8th December 2016 at 2.30 p.m. in Ballydugan Mill, Downpatrick, BT30 8HZ, after a private cremation. Colourful attire suggested.

No flowers please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Macmillan Nurses, c/o Norman McBriar & Son, Funeral Directors, 33a Main Street, Saintfield, BT24 7AB.

Deeply missed by her family and wide circle of friends.

I had the pleasure of working with Norma both through Belfast Education and Library Board and through Capacity Building Work with the Department of Education. I always found her to be a great friend and professional in all she did. I, like a lot of former colleages were much shocked and saddened to learn of her passing at the weekend, and acknowledge that she will be sadly missed.

Dearest cousins, I am so so sad to hear about Norma's sudden passing. It is heartbreaking. Norma was always so positive, so full of life and energy and plans, that it is hard to believe she's gone.
