Oliver Courtney
Tummery Road,
Irvinestown.
We, the family of the late Oliver (Ollie) Courtney, wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on the recent sad bereavement of our brother and uncle. To those who attended to Ollie in Belleek, especially Rapid Response and Ambulance Service, P.S.N.I, his good friend’s Chris Armstrong and Kieran Swift who helped at the scene also Canon McGourty who administered the last rites to Ollie. To all his many neighbours who were always so kind and thoughtful towards Ollie. To those who attended the wake from near and far, sent Mass cards and sympathy cards and those who attended the funeral both in Irvinestown and Lisnaskea, we thank you. A very special thanks to Canon Kevin Duffy for celebrating Ollie’s Funeral Mass and for the personal homily. Thanks also to Canon McPhillips who conducted the burial in Lisnaskea. To Aideen McGirr for the beautiful music which enhanced the ceremony. Thanks to the Eucharistic Ministers and ushers. A sincere thanks to the members of St Molaise, Irvinstown and Lisnaskea Emmett’s for their guard of honour in both Irvinstown and Lisnaskea. Our grateful appreciation to the undertakers; Ollie, Leo & Conor from Swift and McCaffrey for the very dignified and compassionate way they carried out the Funeral arrangements, with such attention to detail in all matters. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Ollie’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Sunday 19th January 2025 in Holy Cross Church, Lisnaskea at 11.00am.
