The family of the late Owen Shields would like to thank all the family, friends and neighbours who visited, sent flowers, cards and messages of condolences and anyone who attended the wake and funeral. Your support is sincerely appreciated.
A special word of thanks to Jonathan Elliott for being with Owen until the paramedics arrived. Also the paramedics that attended Owen on the night he died were extraordinary in their efforts and care of Owen. Thank you to the nurses who cared for him during his illness.
We would like to express our gratitude to Fr. McCaughey for the beautiful mass and Sally Mae for her amazing singing. To Owen's friends for their special tribute with the convoy of old style cars which was his passion right up until the very end.
Finally we would like to thank Bradley & McLaughlin for their dignity and professionalism.
Month's Mind Mass for Owen will be in St. Brigid's Church, Carnhill at 7:00pm on Thursday 3rd February.
