Paddy McLAUGHLIN
Paddy’s wife Celine, his children Sean, Kevin, Anne-Marie, Damien and Melissa would like to express their sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with them through their recent bereavement.
Thank you to all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, called to the house, sent messages of support, all those who lined the funeral route, attended the requiem Mass or viewed the service via the chapel webcam. We would like to thank Fr McGrory for his beautiful mass and comfort he gave from his visits. Also thanks to Fr Canny and Fr Farren for their visits to dad and words of comfort and prayer shared with us the family. To Isobel and Michelle for the beautiful heartfelt music that made the funeral Mass more special.
A very special thank you to all the doctors and nurses and care assistants with a special mention to John McDonald on Ward 50 for your attendance to Paddy and support to us as a family we will remain forever grateful.
To Glendermott Medical Practice and the community nursing team, thank you for your much appreciated help and support at this difficult time and thanks to Caroline, our Foyle Hospice nurse - your support was much appreciated also.
A word of thanks also to those who provided food, sandwiches, cakes, scones, biscuits, and all who kept the kitchen going.
To Jean Boyd of McCourt's Bar thank you and your team for the much welcoming food after the burial.
We also want to thank W J O’Brien & Son funeral directors for their help in carrying out the funeral arrangements in such a dignified and professional manner.
We were extremely humbled by the number of people who prayed for Paddy and paid their respects over the period of his wake, funeral and the days after. Your warmth and kindness have been felt and fully appreciated by the family.
Paddy’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 5th October at 6pm in St Mary’s Ardmore
