The family of Padraig Doherty would like to express our sincere thanks to all who supported and cared for Padraig.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the HSC and Lakeland care teams for their unwavering support, kindness, and companionship over the years. Your care and friendship meant so much to Padraig and brought great comfort to our family
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the District Nursing team, Foyle Hospice and Marie Curie for the exceptional care, compassion and dignity you showed Padraig over his final weeks. Your professionalism, kindness and support insured he was cared for in the best possible way and we will always be deeply grateful.
To all relatives friends neighbours and everyone who visited, telephoned, sent prayers and offerered support we will be forever grateful as this was such a great comfort in such a difficult time for our family. A heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the week and funeral service your presence, kind words and shared memories of Padraig were touching tribute to the man and his memory.
A special word of thanks to Jacqui at Maguires Funeral Services for the professional compassionate and highly dignified manner shown to Padraig and our family throughout. Your guidance and care were greatly appreciated during such a difficult time. Thank you to Judith at Floral Temptations for her beautiful floral tribute which provided a fitting tribute to Padraig.
We are deeply grateful to Father Kevin McElhannon for celebrating Padraig’s Requiem mass with such kind touching words making the service a fitting and personal tribute to his life. Finally, we would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make Padraig’s wake and funeral service such a meaningful and personal celebration of his life.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept the acknowledgement as a sincere gesture of gratitude from our family to you all. Padraig’s month’s mind mass will be held on the 11th of July at Sacred Heart Church at 5:30 pm.
