Pat LENNON

The family and friends of the late Pat Lennon wish to thank all those who sympathised with them following Pat’s passing. Thanks to our friends, neighbours and everyone who called at the house and wake to show their support. Thanks to those who travelled to join us at Pat’s funeral which was a beautiful testament to his great life.
We will be forever grateful to Pat’s friends who visited him particularly over the past few years at home and in Slieve Dhu Nursing Home and to those family and friends who were with Pat in his final days – providing much comfort and support to him.

We are grateful to the Doctors and staff of Clough Surgery for their care for Pat over a long number of years and particularly over the last few years. Thank you to the carers who looked after him in his own home before he moved into Slieve Dhu Nursing Home where the staff provided such care, love and support to Pat over the few years and particularly in his last few days, we will be forever indebted to them for this.

Thank you to Canon Robert Fleck who attended Pat each week and gave him so much spiritual support particularly in his final days and for the beautiful Requiem mass, also many thanks to Finbarr Keaveney for providing the music accompaniment during the Mass.

A special word of thanks to the members of Dundrum GAC both young and old who formed the Guard of Honour outside the church and in the Gaelic field.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the staff at Sawey’s Funeral Directors for their guidance and professionalism throughout the wake and the funeral.

Thanks also to Aughlisnafin for the use of the Hall after the burial and to Frenchie’s Clough for providing the food and refreshments after the burial.

Pat’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Friday 29th August 2025 at 7.30pm in Sacred Heart Church Dundrum.
