Paul, Barry, Derrick, Amanda and entire family circle of Pat Phillips, wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to all those who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. We wish to thank those who visited the house, attended the funeral, sent cards, flowers and messages. Your kindness has provided us with much support and comfort during this difficult time.

Pat was blessed to have wonderful neighbours and we wish to thank them most sincerely for their kindness to her, particularly since Paddy’s passing.

Pat was very privileged to have been lovingly cared for by Dr Ramsey, Three Spires Surgery – thank you for your time, but mostly for your kindness and we also wish to extend particular thanks to Catherine Browne from the surgery – nothing was ever any bother, thank you.

Thanks also to the wonderful District Nursing Team who visited Pat daily. We wish to extend particular thanks to Lisa who was Pat’s own district nurse with whom she developed a wonderful relationship and to Rachel who waited patiently with Pat on the morning of her sudden unwellness, until the ambulance arrived.

We wish to thank the staff of the North West Cancer Unit, with special thanks to Dr Abdulkhalek, Staff Nurses Sinead and Yvonne who spent time with Pat, caring for her and regularly checking in on her. Special thanks also to the staff of Ward 50 who provided Pat with kindness and compassion during her 24 hours in their care – we will be eternally grateful to you, for ensuring that she was comfortable in her final hours on this earth. We would like to pay particular thanks to Fr Sean O’Donnell and Rev Nigel Cairns who visited Pat in hospital and provided her with an abundance of blessings to prepare her for her final journey.

Thanks to Fr O’Kane for the support, he provided during the wake, for the beautiful funeral mass and for the perfect eulogy which summed Pat up impeccably. We also wish to thank Paul Pritchard and Gerarda Gallogly who enriched Pat’s funeral mass with the most beautiful and fitting music.

O’Kane funeral directors have supported the entire Phillips family during the past two years. They continued to do so during Pat’s funeral, and we wish to thank them most sincerely for the dignified and professional way they carried out the funeral arrangements. We also thank Charlie Quinn for preparing Pat’s final resting place. Thanks also to Mairead and Mark McBride who provided the funeral tea and to Neil for organising St Joseph’s Hall.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
The holy sacrifice of mass will be offered for your intentions on Friday 30th September at 7.30pm in Sacred Heart Church and we would be delighted if you could join us.

Have you considered?
