The death has occurred of:
Patrick and Ciera GRIMLEY
The family of the late Patrick Grimley, formerly of 21a Kilcreevy Rd, Madden, extend their heartfelt gratitude to all those who offered sympathy and support during their recent period of mourning.
They deeply appreciate the kindness of friends and neighbours who assisted at the house during the wake, visited, sent mass/sympathy cards, wrote letters, arranged guards of honour and everyone who attended the funeral Mass.
Special recognition and praise is offered to the emergency services who assisted on the night of the accident - to the paramedics who attended the scene, to Sgt Paul Stewart and his team, to the Fire Brigade under the direction of Kevin McAuley and also members of the public who offered their help in such difficult circumstances.
Heartfelt thanks to the ICU in the Royal Victoria Hospital for the dignified care given to Patrick's wife Ciera and the pastoral care offered to Tadhg, Mya and Cadhla throughout.
Special thanks are extended to the Madden community and Madden Raparees for their unwavering help, and invaluable assistance at this difficult time. For the ongoing support, they are eternally grateful.
The family express gratitude to Patrick's work colleagues at Bar One Racing, his friends within the Armagh GAA community and indeed the wider GAA circle who came out in their large numbers to offer support to the family
The family wishes to recognise Father Sean O'Neill for his spiritual care and thoughtful celebration of Patrick's Requiem Mass, and Catherine Grimley Hughes for the beautiful music. Appreciation goes to Mone Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified handling of the funeral arrangements and all their guidance
With gratitude on behalf of Patrick's parents Brian and Frances, his children Tadhg, Mya and Cadhla, his brothers Liam, Kieran, Ryan and Niall and his sister Megan, they thank you from the bottom of their hearts
Patrick and Ciera's months mind Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 12th December at 7pm in St. Joseph's Church, Madden.
Refreshments served in Madden Community Centre following the month's mind Mass, everyone welcome.
Grimley (nee Geraghty) Ciera
The Family of Ciera would like to send our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who were there for us during our time of loss.
Your kind words and prayers were of great comfort, as we tried to come to terms with the loss of our daughter and sister Ciera, and her husband Patrick, who were both taken from us in a tragic accident.
We are truly thankful to all the emergency services who attended that night and to all the care provided, especially to those who held Ciera’s hand and comforted her.
We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the doctors and nurses at the Royal Victoria Hospital (ICU), for the wonderful support and care they provided to Ciera and her three children Tadhg, Mya and Cadhla.
The time you spent with them and us as a family really helped us all and we will never forget the compassion shown.
To all those who helped with the Funeral services of Ciera and Patrick, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
A special thank you to Mones Funeral Home for their devoted attention and guidance and to Fr O’ Neill for a beautiful service.
We appreciated all the support from the Madden community and to Richhill Dance Studio for their lovely guard of honour and continued support.
We sincerely acknowledge the generous donations made in lieu of flowers to the Royal Victory Hospital Belfast (ICU unit).
To all those and their families who were affected on the night, especially Ciera and Patrick's great friends, you are always in our thoughts and prayers.
We as family hope that we can support and comfort each other through this difficult time
