Acknowledgement
Wife Bridie, and children Bronagh, Ciara, Joseph, Michael, Damian and Eoghan of the late Patrick Joseph (Joe) McElduff, 45 Dunnamore Road, Cookstown, wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us during our recent bereavement.
We are deeply grateful to all who paid their respects, sent Mass cards, attended the wake and funeral, sent flowers, provided food, and helped with refreshments throughout the wake. Your kindness and support were a great comfort to us at such a sad and difficult time.

We extend a special word of thanks to the doctors, nurses and medical professionals who cared for Joe throughout his illness, particularly the team at Cookstown Family Practice, especially Dr Bateson and Dr Potter, the staff at the Cancer Centre, the doctors and nurses in Antrim Area Hospital, and the Palliative Care Team.

Our sincere thanks also to Falls Chemist and their professional, caring staff for their continued support.

A heartfelt thanks is also extended to the carers and the District Nursing Team, who cared for Joe with such kindness, dignity and compassion. We will always be deeply grateful for the care shown to Joe and to our family.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Father Paddy Hughes and Monsignor Colum Curry for their spiritual support and guidance to Joe throughout his illness, and especially in his final days. Their presence and prayers brought great comfort. We are especially thankful for the beautiful celebration of Joe’s Requiem Mass, which so poignantly and personally reflected and celebrated his life.

We further wish to acknowledge Joanne Loughran, Funeral Director, for arranging and carrying out the wake and funeral with such professionalism, dignity and sensitivity.

Our sincere thanks to Gerry Loughran and Willow McIntyre for the beautiful music, which added so much to the funeral liturgy.
We would like to thank JDC for providing the bus, Arthur Keenan for driving, and all those who assisted with traffic management.
We also extend our thanks to the gravediggers and sacristan for their support, and to the staff of The Mill Wheel for providing food throughout the wake and for the beautiful meal after the funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Joe’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 3rd July at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church, Dunnamore and can also be viewed using the link below https://www.mcn.live/Camera/st-marys-church-6
