Patrick Lane
The family of the late Patrick Lane wish to express their thanks to all those who sympathised on the loss of our much loved husband, father, son and brother.
Patrick’s funeral was truly a celebration of his life and we thank Fr Des Mooney for his spiritual guidance. Our thanks also to Anna Maria Boyle for the beautiful music at the mass.
We were deeply touched by the generosity of all who visited our home, brought gifts, attended the funeral, expressed condolences on social media and sent mass or sympathy cards.
We would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of Craigavon Area Hospital, The Mandeville, Daisy Hill Hospital and Evora hospice for the compassion and care afforded to Patrick throughout his illness.
Sincere thanks to Dr Amy Gilsenan, the Community District and Palliative care teams and the staff of Walsh’s Pharmacy and McKeever’s Chemist. The professionalism, support and dedication to meeting the needs of Patrick throughout his illness were much appreciated by us all.
To Life and Times and Dr Henry McLaughlin we are most grateful for the support given in Patrick’s final days at home.
Thanks to everyone who donated to Life and Times, especially Maria who ran the mini marathon in memory of her Godfather.

Patrick’s Month Mind mass will be celebrated on Saturday 27th June at 6pm in Star of the Sea Church, Rostrevor.
