Patrick (Packie) ROONEY
The family of the late Packie Rooney R.I.P. would like to express their sincere gratitude to all who helped out during their recent sad bereavement. To all those who assisted at the wake, brought food and gifts to the house, especially Cordelias, Armagh. To all the medical staff who looked after Packie, in particular the Friary Surgery, Armagh, the District Nurse, Moy, Marie Curie, the doctors and nurses of the Acute team, and the carers from the Trust team.
We would like to thank Fr. David Nugent for his pastoral care and for the beautiful requiem mass. Thank you to O’Connell’s G.A.C. and road bowlers who provided the guard of honour, and to the girls who helped out in the hall. Thank you to Siobhan Robinson and musician for the beautiful music, and to Kevin McBride for the lovely piping. Thank you to Benny Martin Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified funeral service.
Finally, thank you to all who came to the wake and funeral, sent cards and sympathized with the family in any way.
Packie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held at 10am on Sunday 19th July in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tullysaran.
