We the family of Patrick (Paddy) Simpson, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathised with us following the death of the of our much-loved son, brother, father, and grandfather. Thank you to all who took the time to come to the wake or funeral. To all who sent mass and sympathy cards, letters, and flowers and who brought food to the house, thank you for your generous support. To those who made donations to the AwareNI charity in lieu of flowers we appreciate the support you are providing to other people suffering from depression and bipolar disorder (https://aware-ni.org/donate-to-aware). To all our friends and colleagues who provided us with loving, caring, supportive words through this difficult time. To those who were a constant presence throughout the wake, organising and directly aspects to ensure the smooth reception of mourners to the house. As special word of thanks to Fr Conor McConville for his beautiful funeral service and homily and to Fr Charlie Byrne for assisting in the service on the day and the pastoral care he provided during the lead up to the funeral. Similarly, a word of thanks to Kayla Lennon for the wonderful music that accompanied Paddy on his final journey. To Dr Roisin McMullan of Scarva Street Surgery, who worked with Paddy over many years managing his illness. Thank you to Charles Digney & Sons funeral undertakers who provided an excellent service, delivered with care and compassion, empathy, and professionalism throughout. Finally, thank you everyone involved in the Guard of Honour from Banbridge Town Ladies FC, Clann na Banna and Our Lady’s Grammar School.

We sincerely hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation as it would be impossible to thank everyone individually for their support.

A Month’s Mind mass will be held for on Sunday 19th of February at 10am in St Patrick's Church, Loughbrickland. This service can be viewed on the church webcam for those unable to attend. Forever grateful, the Simpson Family.
