Patrick (Paddy) DIAMOND
We, the family of the late Patrick (Paddy) Diamond R.I.P. wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with us and supported us during our recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful to relatives, friends and neighbours who called to our home, sent cards, letters of condolence, flowers, and donations. We are particularly mindful of those who travelled long distances to express their sympathies in person.
A special thanks to all those who cared for Paddy during his illness, in particular Dr Adrian Johnston, carers, and nurses from Randalstown Health Centre. Paddy received excellent care and compassion throughout his illness for which we are extremely grateful.
Our family is blessed to have the spiritual guidance of Canon John Forsythe. We thank Canon John for his support and for celebrating the beautiful funeral Mass. We would also like to thank Grainne and her team who provided refreshments following the funeral service.
The music was beautifully performed by our cousin Karen McCormick and Siobhan Flanagan for which we are most appreciative.
Thank you to Dermot, Paddy, and Dessie and all at Marrion’s Funeral Directors for the caring and dignified way in which they dealt with everything for our family.
As it would not be possible to thank everyone individually for their generosity and thoughtfulness during this time, we trust that this acknowledgement will serve as an expression of our sincere appreciation.
The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
Paddy’s month mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 22nd January at 10am in St. Mac Nissi’s Church Randalstown and may also be viewed on the parish webcam.
