GALLAGHER
Patrick (Paddy)
Letfern Road, Tattyreagh, Omagh
Died 10th March 2021

Beloved husband of Patricia (Lynch), and much-loved father of Maeve (Patrick), Áine (Liam), Cathal and grandfather to Erin. Cherished son of Kathleen (nee McDonnell) and the late Hugh, brother to Emmett, Joe, Jacinta, Eimear, Aidan, and the late Ciaran. A much-loved brother-in-law and uncle.

We, as a family, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who supported and sympathised with us on Paddy’s recent passing. We have been overwhelmed by the volume of telephone calls, mass cards, sympathy cards, touching letters, social media messages, floral tributes, and family refreshments. We drew great comfort from all those who lined the funeral route on Paddy’s last journey through Tattyreagh and Omagh to his final resting place in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Drumragh.
We offer our sincere thanks to Fr. Hasson P.P. for his spiritual guidance throughout this time, and for offering the Requiem Mass so carefully and considerately, capturing the essence of Paddy for all of us who loved him so dearly.
We offer our appreciation to the Sacristan, those who assisted with mass arrangements, and to those who joined us through the parish webcam to celebrate Paddy’s life. A special word of thanks to Donna Taggart for her gift of the beautiful funeral music and thank you to Omagh Boys and Girls Boxing Club for their thoughtful guard of honour.
We offer our heartfelt appreciation to Drumragh Sarsfields G.A.C for their support, kindness, and generosity throughout this time. Their careful arrangement of the guard of honour at the funeral, and presence at his graveside, was a fitting tribute to Paddy, who dedicated so much of his life to the growth and development of the club he loved dearly.
We offer our sincere thanks to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and respectful way they carried out Paddy’s funeral arrangements. Thanks to Charlie Quinn and Terry McGovern who prepared Paddy’s final resting place, and to Nettles & Petals for the beautiful flowers.

To everyone who offered their love and support throughout this difficult time, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to you all.

Paddy’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Omagh, on Thursday 22nd April 2021 at 7.30pm. In relation to Covid-19, attendees are permitted as per public health guidelines at the time. The mass can be also be viewed via the parish webcam: www.drumraghparish.com/webcam.html
