Patrick (Paddy) McCartney
The family of the late Paddy McCartney, Ardboe, wish to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone who offered sympathy and support to us during our recent sad bereavement.
Special thanks to all our neighbours, friends and family who came to the wake and funeral, sent mass and sympathy cards, flowers, calls and texts, brought food and supported us in many ways.
Heartfelt thanks to the Staff of Cove Manor, who cared for Dad with kindness and compassion and the Doctors at Gardiner street surgery , the District Nurses, and all at O’Briens chemist.
We thank all our relatives and friends for their help during the wake, making tea or supporting us in any way. We thank O’Donovan Rossa GAA for their assistance with parking at the wake.
Thanks To Fr Tremer for all his kindness and who celebrated a beautiful Mass. We extend our thanks to Lavery’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism as they carried out Paddy’s funeral arrangements with great dignity and compassion and also to the grave diggers, who prepared Dad’s final resting place.
Thanks to Emmet and Roisin for the beautiful singing and music at the service and to all at Ardboe hall for the use of the hall and to local shops and Brenda and her staff for the food after the funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.
Paddy’s Months Mind Mass will take place on Wednesday 20th March 2024 in the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Ardboe at 7:30pm. Mass will be streamed via Church Webcam (link below).
