ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & MONTH’S MIND
Died 30th May 2026

We, the family of the late Patrick (Pat) Bell, wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported us during the recent loss of our beloved Dad, Father-in-law, Granda, Brother and Uncle.

To everyone who called at the house, attended the wake or funeral, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, donations, flowers, or remembered us in their prayers, your kindness and support brought us great comfort.

We are especially grateful to our family and friends who provided food, refreshments and help throughout those difficult days. Your generosity and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.

Our sincere thanks go to all those who cared for Dad with such compassion, including the GPs and staff at Aberfoyle Medical Practice, the District Nurses, carers from Bryson Care and NW Care, Dr Dinsmore of Family Practice Strabane, and all the staff at Melmount Manor Care Home. Your professionalism, kindness and empathy were deeply appreciated.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Father Declan McGeehan, priest of Steelstown Parish, for celebrating a beautiful Requiem Mass, and to Michelle Conaghan and her accompanist for their moving and meaningful musical contribution.

Our appreciation extends to W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for their dedication, professionalism and dignity in handling all arrangements.

As it is impossible to thank everyone personally, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our deepest gratitude and appreciation.

Dad’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 4th July at 6.30pm in Steelstown Chapel.
