The death has occurred of:
Patrick (Pat) McALEER
The family of the late Patrick (Pat) McAleer (Drumnakilly) wish to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them during their recent sad bereavement.
We are deeply grateful to our extended family, friends and neighbours, for those who called at the house, attended the funeral and helped in anyway. Especially those who travelled a great distance and to all who sent mass cards and sympathy messages, posted online tributes, served refreshments at the wake, brought food and helped in so many ways.
Our heartfelt thanks goes to Strule Family Practice, District Nurses, Palliative Care, Rapid Response and Marie Curie for all the care, support and compassion shown to Pat in his final days.
We would like to extend particular thanks to Fr. Hannigan for his Spiritual support and for Officiating at Pat's Requiem Mass and burial with compassion and dignity. We would like to acknowledge Fr. Sean McCartin for his spiritual support and guidance.
We extend our gratitude to all who took part in the Funeral Mass, the Choir for the beautiful music and singing. We are also grateful to the gravediggers for preparing Pat's final resting place.
We wish to convey our profound appreciation to Peter OKane, Funeral Directors, for their compassion, kindness and dignified manner in which all arrangements were carried out.
Our thanks also goes to Maeve McKenna of "The Feeder" for the excellent food at the wake and following the funeral Mass.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude.
Pat's Month's Mind Mass will take place on Saturday 23rd August 2025 at 7:30pm in St. Patrick's Church, Drumduff.
Our Lady of Lourdes, Pray for Him.
