We, the wife and family of the late Patrick (Patsy) Mc Grellis, Fincarn, Feeny wish to express our sincere gratitude to all our family circles, friends and neighbours for their support and sympathy during our recent bereavement.
Thank you to everyone who sent Mass and Sympathy cards and all who expressed their condolences in person, by phone, letter, social media, email and text.
Thank you to those who brought food to the family home and to all who sent flowers to us.
Thanks to Drs Knox and Byrne, all doctors, nurses and staff of Feeny Health Centre and to the District Nursing Team for their professional care over the years. Many thanks to Declan and the team at Feeny Pharmacy who were always so helpful when we needed them. Our thanks to the Carers from Connected Health for the kind and outstanding care given to Patsy over the past few years.
We are grateful for the support of those who paid their respects outside the family home and at the Church on the morning of the funeral.
Thanks to Pauline for arranging the altar flowers so beautifully, and to Anne, Margaret and Majella for their music which added so much to the funeral Mass.
Unfortunately, due to government restrictions, many family and friends could not be with us personally. However, we very much appreciate your thoughts and prayers, and that so many of you joined us for the funeral Mass online from near and far.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Micheál Mc Gavigan, for his pastoral care to Patsy and his family. Many thanks to Fr Collins, Fr Graham and Fr Pius Mc Laughlin OFM for their prayers.
We are especially grateful to Fr. Micheál for celebrating the funeral Mass and for bringing together, in his eulogy, lovely memories from Patsy’s life.
Sincere thanks to Stephen for his professional help to Patrick and Conor (P.A Mc Grellis & Son Funeral Directors) and for the caring and dignified manner in which they conducted the funeral. Thanks to Shane and Kevin for preparing the grave.
It would be impossible to thank everyone individually and we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for everyone’s intentions. Patsy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Banagher, on Sunday 7th March at 9.15am. Mass will be available on the Parish Webcam at https://churchmedia.tv/camera/st-joesphs-church-banagher
