Acknowledgment.
Patrick {Patsy} Barrett formerly of 4 Slieveard Mews, Killyclogher, Omagh, Co. Tyrone who died on 20th July 2023 peacefully surrounded by his loving family. A dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, father-in-law, brother-in -law, uncle and friend.
We his family would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.
Thank you to all those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and to all who called at the wake house, left messages online or via social media.
Sincere thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours and local businesses who helped us during the wake and for those who brought food.
A special word of thanks to Father Kevin McElhennon and Father Declan Mc Geehan for their spiritual support and for the comforting requiem Mass celebrated by Father Kevin.
We convey our appreciation also to everyone who took part in the liturgy, readers, the beautiful music provided by James Mc Shane and Marie Campbell and the piper Brendan Devenney at the graveside. Thank you to Orla at Hello Petal for the beautiful flowers. Thank you to McAtee funeral directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger for preparing Patsy’s final resting place. Thank you to all who made donations in lieu of flowers to Marie Curie.
Our deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff of Strule Medical practice, to Declan and the staff at Omagh Pharmacy group, Patsy’s Oncology team in the Altnagelvin Hospital who all went above and beyond the call of duty during Patsy’s illness. Thank you to Marie Curie and the District nurses who provided Patsy with such care and attention and made it possible to have Patsy at home as he wished.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Patsy is greatly loved and will be missed every day, may his gentle soul rest in peace.
Patsy’s months mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Marys Church Killyclogher on Tuesday 15th August at 7.30pm
St. Padre Pio pray for him.
