Patrick Doherty
His brother Brendan, brother-in-law Matt Smyth, his nephews and nieces, the Smyth, McCann and Doherty family circle would like to sincerely thank all who supported and sympathised with them on the death of Patrick R.I.P.
A special word of thanks to Fr Neil Farren for his care and attendance to Patrick at home and in Hospital and for celebrating the Requiem Mass and graveside service and to Fr Hasson for his spiritual support and guidance.
Thanks to all the Doctors and Nurses of Kilrea Health Centre, The Medical Assessment Unit Causeway Hospital, the Bluebird Carers, The Glen Carers and the other carers who provided care for Patrick over the years.
Thanks to Clodagh McGurk & Maria McLarnon for the beautiful music, Mary McNicholl for the flowers and to Aidan Reid who prepared Patrick’s final resting place. A very special thanks to the Aghadowey Hall Committee who organised and provided refreshments after the funeral.
The family wish especially to thank all the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and wider community who sympathised with them at this very difficult time. Thanks to all who attended the wake, phoned, messaged, sent cards and attended the funeral, we are very grateful.
Finally sincere thanks to Dempsey Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and for their ongoing support and guidance.
The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
The month’s mind Mass for Patrick will be celebrated on Sunday 27th October at 9.45am in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Aghadowey.
