The family of the late Patsy Brady RIP, wish to thank all who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. We would especially like to thank everyone who visited our home, telephoned, sent mass and sympathy cards and flowers and those who contacted us through social media.

We would like to give a special word of thanks to the ambulance service and paramedics that attended Patsy in a professional and caring nature. We would also like to give our long time neighbours Brian and Catherine McIver a special word of thanks for all their help and assistance during the wake.

Thank you to all who attended the funeral mass in person or through church webcam and those who stood out for funeral cortege passing and all those who helped in any way, it has been a great comfort in our time of sadness.

Thank you to Fr. Donnelly PP. for the beautiful requiem mass and to Roisin and Emmett for the beautiful music and singing.

Many thanks to Cassidy Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements with compassion and also to the grave diggers.

Thank you to Killian Conlan for the use of the excellent facilities of Ballinderry Community Hub and the staff that helped with refreshments and to the Tilley Lamp and Gemma Bell for supplying the beautiful food.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude for all those who helped and comforted us during this time.

Patsy’s months mind mass will be celebrated in Saint Patrick’s Church, Ballinderry on Friday 19th August at 7.30pm and can also be viewed via church webcam.

Support the Shamrocks and the reds,
That sentence you loved to say.
The way your face lit up
Always made my day.

All the great teams and players,
You knew them off by heart.
These men were all pure class,
Oh kid where do I start.

Big Sean in ‘74,
Big Enda in ‘02,
Young boys grow up to be cowboys,
PB I know now it’s true.

Don’t worry kid, be happy,
Tomorrow’s another day.
Through your pain and suffering,
It must have been hard for you to say.

Thank you for your wisdom,
You taught me many things.
Be a loyal friend kid,
And watch the happiness it brings.

PB was a legend,
All your many friends agree,
Their stories and their memories,
Will mean so much to me.

A beautiful summer morning in Derrychrin,
But you had to say Goodbye,
Got to go now kid,
And meet the spirit in the sky.
