Gerald, Joanne (Kearns), Shauna (Lynn) and Tracey (McCullagh) and the entire family circle of the late Patsy R.I.P., wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. We wish to express a massive thanks to our very kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped us during this difficult time by messaging, sending cards, calling to the house, attending the wake, bringing food, serving food, providing transport to and from the house, directing traffic and attending the funeral. Thank you to Blackhill Marquees for setting up so efficiently at our home and to An Rath Dubh community centre, Moneynena for providing refreshments after the funeral. Thank you to the staff at Antrim Area Hospital, Draperstown Surgery, Marie Curie, McMillan Cancer Care, the District Nursing and Helping Hand teams who cared for daddy over the last few months. Thank you to Michael, Noreen and Lawrence O’Kane for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and for the support and care they provided to us during this difficult time. A special thanks to Fr Madden and Fr McGirr for calling to our house during Daddy’s last few days and during the wake to say prayers and to Fr Madden for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass. Thanks to Bernie Cuskeran and Sean Mc Cullagh for the beautiful music during the Mass, the church sacristan, Devlin Media and to those who prepared the grave. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all. The Months Mind Mass for Patsy will be celebrated on Friday 1st December, 2023 at 7.30pm in the Holy Rosary Church, Draperstown.
