Margaret, Shane, Judith and the entire family circle of the late Patsy R.I.P. wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.
A special thanks to Canon Fr. John Forsythe P.P. for his spiritual support, guidance, celebration of the Requiem Mass and travelling to Rasharkin for the committal.
Thanks to Peter and Margaret Boyle for their eucharistic ministry and their continuing support, to the Gribbin Girls for their musical accompaniment during the funeral service, to Fionnuala McGuckian and the St Olcan's staff for providing refreshments after the funeral and to Wishy Drain who prepared the grave.
Thanks to all of the community nurses and the nurses in the Hospital Diversion Unit at Rosedale who cared so compassionately for Patsy. And to the Marie Curie and Hospice at Home nurses and to the caring teams who provided such tender support and service to Patsy in his final days.
The family wish to especially thank the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time. Thanks to those who messaged, sent cards, sent donations and those who gathered along the route to the Church and attended the funeral, we are truly grateful.
It goes without saying the family owe a debt of gratitude to the nursing staffing at Laurel House in Antrim Area Hospital and particularly to the special care offered by Aaron Niblock and Kerrie Sweeney who looked after Dad over the last five years. Thank you.
And a final and heartfelt thanks to Michael Og and Gregory McKiernan for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and particularly for the support and care they provided to all of the family during this difficult time.
The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
The month mind Mass for Patsy will be celebrated on Saturday 27th May at 6:00pm in St. MacNissi's Church, Randalstown.
