The family of the late Patsy McGrath RIP wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
A special thanks to Fr Joseph Rooney for his spiritual support to Patsy and the family at all times and especially in recent months. The family also wish to convey their appreciation for Fr Chris McDermott's warm tribute to Patsy in his homily, and for the manner he organised and celebrated the beautiful requiem Mass. Thanks also to Fr Pat Universal for the many prayers and Masses said for Patsy throughout his illness.
Thanks to the Gribbin Sisters for the wonderful music, the sacristan, the Eucharistic minister, the grave diggers and all those who assisted with the funeral arrangements.
Patsy’s family wish to especially thank the extended relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who supported them during this difficult time. To those who messaged, telephoned, called at the house, sent cards, gave donations, gathered along the route and attended the funeral, we thank you.
Sincere appreciation to the staff of Causeway Hospital, Laurel House, Antrim Area Hospital and the Community and Hospice Nurse team who cared for Patsy. The family would like to pay tribute to Terry McVeigh, at the Causeway Hospital, for his wonderful support, care and dedication.
A special note of thanks to Dr Shaun McBride and to the entire staff at Rasharkin Health Centre, for their care, kindness and dedication over the last number of months, and thanks to Kennedy, Clear and Bannside pharmacies.
The family would also like to express their gratitude to McKiernan and Sons, Funeral Directors; to both Michael Og and Gregory for the very professional, compassionate and dedicated manner in which they carried out and guided them through all aspects of the funeral arrangements. We are truly grateful for your personal attention at this sad time.
The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
The month’s mind Mass for Patsy will be celebrated on Thursday 4th January at 7.30pm in St Anne’s Church, Kilrea.
