We the family of the late Patsy McGrath (RIP), Mill Street, Pettigo would like to thank most sincerely all of those who sympathised and showed us great kindness and support on our recent sad bereavement.
To all our family, friends and neighbours who provided emotional and practical support at this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt gratitude.
To those who called in person to the wake and the funeral, telephoned, those who shared warm words and happy memories online, sent mass & sympathy cards and those who travelled long distances, we thank you. Your presence, messages and support have been a great source of comfort and have shown how well loved and thought of Dad was.
We are grateful to the funeral undertaker Claude McKervey & Patsy Dolan for their grace and professionalism and thank you to the gravediggers who prepared Dads final resting place.
A very special thanks to all our family & friends who helped during the wake and provided refreshments for everyone.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in the Funeral Mass, Monsignor La Flynn & Fr Frank McManus who concelebrated the Mass. Bernie & Paul Kelly who provided the beautiful music. The Sacristans for their help.
We wish to acknowledge the Ambulance service, medical personnel in Sligo University Hospital who were involved in Dads care throughout his illness, Oncology nurse Olivia Grady; Dr James Lineen and the staff of Medical 5 who looked after Dad in his final days. Dr Peter Kardos, Dr Catherine Blair, & Dr Emma O’Doherty, Nurse Rose Britton and all the staff in Donegal Health Centre & public health nurse Frances McGloin who took care of Dad throughout his years. To Joe Britton (Pharmacy) & staff – heartfelt thanks for everything.
Many Thanks to Paul Kelly and the staff of the Riverbank Diner for providing the refreshments after the funeral in the Termon Complex.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
