The family of the late Paul Deane (Deano) of 33 Kavanagh Court, Ballymagroarty, wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. Sincere thanks to those who paid their respects, sent messages, Mass cards or sympathy cards, attended the wake and funeral, sent flowers and those who brought food and made tea throughout the wake. This was a great comfort to us at a very sad time.

A special thanks to the local businesses who dropped food to the wake house, The Cosh, The Thirsty Goat, Wheelers, The Old Docks, The Pickled Duck, Avenue 17 and Molly Malone’s who also laid on food after the funeral.

We'd also like to thank Shaun at Bonnie's Bouncies and the Ballymagroarty Community Centre for providing additional supplies to support us during the wake.

A special mention for our family friend, Fr Colm O'Doherty, and also Fr Joe Gormley.

Finally, a massive thank you to Kieran and all at W. J O'Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for their professionalism & dignified manner in which they dealt with everything.

Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family's deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.

Deano’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty on Tuesday 17th October 2023 at 7.15 pm. Everyone welcome.
