PAULA LAVERY (née McQUILLAN)
LAVERY – The Family of the late Paula Lavery (Nee McQuillan), wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad loss of Paula.
We thank the Lavery and McQuillan families for the unfailing support they gave us during Paula’s illness, wake and funeral.
We thank the Doctors and Nurses in the City Hospital, Belfast and the Cancer Centre and especially the Doctors and Nurses at the Marie Curie Centre, Belfast for their wonderful care of Paula in the final stages of her journey.
We thank Rev. Fr. O’Donnell for the beautiful funeral Mass at St Brigid’s, Derryvolgie and for his pastoral support to Paula and the family during her illness. We also thank Deacon Brett Lockhart for his much valued assistance at the funeral Mass and wake.
Thanks also to St. Peter’s Parish in Lurgan and particularly Rev. Fr. Colum Murphy for officiating at the interment in St. Colman’s Cemetry, Lurgan.
Thank you to the staff and parishoners at St Brides for the use of the Parish Hall, and assisting in serving refreshments to the large crowd after the Funeral Mass.
To the many kind Friends and Neighbours who came to the wake, attended Paula’s funeral, sent sympathy cards or helped in any way, we extend a sincere thank you.
Thank you to Loreto McAuley, Elizabeth Ross and Dervilagh Cooper for the beautiful music and singing which added so much to Paula’s funeral mass.
Many thanks to the Lady Members of Dunmurry Golf Club who attended the funeral and to Joanne and staff at the Club who provided the lovely meal after the burial service.
Thanks also to Hugh O’Kanes Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional way they carried out the funeral arrangements.
