Zara, Brenainn, Naimh and the entire family circle of the late Paul R.I.P. wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent sudden bereavement.
Thanks to James and all the staff of McAuley’s who along with the paramedics attended to Paul and Dr Grainne McGurk for supporting and assisting the family.
A special thanks to Fr Chris McDermott for his spiritual support, guidance, pastoral care and for celebrating the Requiem Mass.
Thanks to Carole Shivers and Sean Scullion for the beautiful music; the church sacristans, the Manor House for providing refreshments after the funeral, and Wishy Drain who prepared the grave.
The family wish to especially thank the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time. Thanks to Charlie McAllister and Colm McAtamney for their help. Thanks to those who messaged, sent cards, sent donations and those who gathered along the route to the Church and attended the funeral, we are truly grateful.
Final thanks to Gregory and Michael-Og McKiernan for going above and beyond to meet the needs of the family and helping to ease their suffering in so many ways.
The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
The month mind Mass for Paul will be celebrated on Wednesday 6th May 2026 at 7:30pm in St. Mary’s Church, Drumagarner.
