On behalf of my father, the daughter, brothers, sisters & partner of the late Paul Doherty, who passed away suddenly on 21st May, I would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our terrible loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, funeral mass and burial, and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent flowers, cards and messages of condolences. We also acknowledge the shared sorrow of Paul's closest friends, both from childhood and more recent.
A special word of thanks to Frs.McFaul & Sanuita, the soloist & musician, and all those who took part in the readings and carrying of the gifts. You all made the funeral mass a beautiful tribute.Our deepest thanks, also, to Carr Family Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified service, especially in dealing with authorities so the wake and funeral could take place in a timely manner. Also to the many friends, neighbours, and local Companies who generously donated refreshments during the wake. To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Paul's Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Tuesday 20th June in St Mary's Chapel, Creggan at 7:30pm. All Welcome.
