The death has occurred of:
Paul Irvine
We, the family of the late Paul Irvine, wish to express our sincere thanks to all our family circle, our friends, the wider community of Kilkeel and those further afield who have sympathised with us and shown us so much practical and prayerful support over these past weeks.
Our sincere thanks to all who sent cards and donations. We have been overwhelmed by the amount of donations received and to date the total is just over £2300. This money will be handed over to the RNLI and Mourne Mountain Rescue Team within the next week or so. Thank you again to everyone.
A special word of thanks to our amazing church family in Christ Church Kilkeel. To our Rector Ali for her love, care and support, to David Charleton for leading the Service of Thanksgiving and the support shown to us throughout a very difficult few days, to David Henderson and the worship team (Sally, Lorna, Karen, Hannah and Nathan) and the choir for leading the praise and worship, and to everyone else who helped out in anyway at the Service. To Hazel and the amazing team of ladies who served the refreshments in the hall, we also want to say a huge thank you.
We wish to thank the Doctors in Mourne Family Surgery, the nurses and staff in Daisy Hill and on Ward 4E in the Royal Victoria Hospital for their care and attention given to Paul.
Finally we wish to thank Jimmy and Adam of Adam Annett and Son Funeral Directors for the caring and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Also to William McBurney for his graveside duties.
We trust this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere and heartfelt appreciation
Sidnee, Matthew, Andrew, Sarah, Kayla and Jayne
