We, the wife, sons, daughter, daughters-in-law and extended family circle of the late Paul Owens wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us in our recent sad loss on 18th August 2024.

Thanks to everyone who called at the wake, brought cards, sent letters, telephoned, left gifts, cooked meals
We would like to convey our heartfelt appreciation to Fr. Lawrence Boyle & Fr. Brian Slater, Fr. P Hughes, Monsignor Colm Corry and Deacon Brian McNally for their visits and spiritual support.

Thanks to Fr Brian Slater whose contribution to the Requiem Mass made the ceremony so special and to Ciara Fox for the beautiful singing accompanied by Rory Madden, also Donald & Deirbhile Canavan, (Paul’s brother in law and niece)for their beautiful music, Sacristant, Eucharistic Ministers.

Thanks to Dr. Alan McKay, his colleagues and staff Moneymore Medical Centre, Mr Stephen McKay and team Moneymore Pharmacy, Dr David Conkey, oncologist RVH, Nicola Johnston neurosurgeon RVH, Eilis McGill NI Hospice and team, District Nurses, Extra Care, Marie Curie, Brainwaves NI, Charis Cancer Care, for the care and compassion shown to Paul during his illness.

Thank you to Fr Rocks GAA club for their guard of honour at the chapel.

Thank you to Joanna and team at Niall A. Loughran’s Funeral Directors for their professional, dignified and compassionate funeral arrangements. Also to John Spratt who prepared Paul’s final resting place.

Thanks also to Michelle Coey, Coey Creations, for the precious photographs, personalised candles and pamphlets for Paul’s Requiem mass.

Thank you to Josie Brown for the refreshments after the funeral and to the ladies who volunteered at Lissan Hall
We would like to give a special thanks to

our family circle and close friends for their overwhelming love and kindness to Paul during his illness and their help and support, shown in so many ways at the wake and funeral.

We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude.

Paul’s Month`s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Holy Trinity Church Cookstown on Saturday 21st September at 6pm
