The death has occurred of:
Peggy FEENEY
We the family of the late Peggy Feeney, 16 Malin Gardens, wish to express our profound gratitude and appreciation to all who sympathised with us at a most difficult time. We also would like to thank all that came to the wake, brought food, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers and attended the funeral.
We would like to thank Father Daniel McFaul for his spiritual support, guidance, and the lovely Requiem Mass and all the Parish priests that have blessed Peggy's life. Thanks go to Lauren and Beth Doherty for the beautiful music at the service.
We are also very grateful to Kieran, Noeleen and all the staff at W.J. O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for the caring, professional and dignified way in which the funeral arrangements were conducted, and for the invaluable guidance provided throughout. Also thank you to WD Carriages, Culmore, for the wonderful use of the horse drawn hearse.
Special thanks to all at Quayside Medical, for their care of Peggy throughout the years, and to the Acute Care team and Marie Curie for their amazing care for our mother and the support given to us at that difficult time. Thank you to all that cared for Peggy in the last few years.
We appreciate the donations made to Marie Curie in lieu of flowers and were overwhelmed by the generosity of people. We cannot name all who helped us individually, so we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt gratitude. We also would like to thank McDaid's Bakery, the Tasty Reel, the Bentley, and the Thirsty Goat for their kindness. Many thanks to Lakeview Cafe, Creggan Country Park for the refreshments after the committal.
The Month’s Mind Mass for Peggy will be celebrated in St Mary's Church, Creggan, at 7.30pm on Tuesday 7th of February 2023. Livestream will be available.
