Peggy GILMORE
The family of the late Peggy Gilmore wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us in the recent bereavement of a dearly loved, mother (Ma), grandmother (Granny/Nannie), great grandmother (GG), mother-in-law, aunt and friend.
We would like to especially thank our kind relatives, friends, neighbours, and members of the wider community for their expressions of love and support during this difficult time. Our heartfelt thanks to those who called at Peggy’s home and attended her funeral. We acknowledge with deep appreciation those who travelled great distances to be with us. We also thank those who sent Mass cards, letters and messages of sympathy.
Our sincere thanks to Fr. Jain and Fr. David for their prayers and to Fr. Emerson for conducting the Requiem Mass. Our thanks to Margaret Anne Conlon for her beautiful music, it brough great comfort to us all. We would also like to thank the church sacristan, and everyone who took part in the funeral mass. Thank you to Sean the piper, the gravediggers in Kilrea who prepared our mother’s final resting place and Fr. McDermott for Peggy’s interment prayers.
A special word of thanks to Dr. Cossgrove and the staff in Antrim Medical Centre. Thank you to all of the careers who looked after our mother over the past decade, we will be forever grateful for your kindness and compassion.
Thanks to Marrion's Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified way Peggy’s wake and funeral was carried out. Thank you to the girls in Soda’s, Bellaghy, for providing food throughout the wake and to all the staff in The Manor House, Kilrea who provided food after the funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our deepest gratitude to all those who supported us and brought comfort to us during our loss.
As always, things will be done Granny's way - Peggy will have two Month Mind Masses, the first will be celebrated on Saturday 28th June at 10am in St. Comgall’s Church, Antrim and the second will be celebrated on Sunday 29th June at 10am in St. Mary’s Church, Drumagarner, Kilrea.
Peggy is forever loved and sadly missed. May she Rest in Peace.
