Peter James Donnelly

We the family of the late Peter James Donnelly wish to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. We thank everyone who attended the wake/funeral, telephoned, sent Mass/sympathy cards, flowers, messages, and to all who generously provided food/refreshments. We wish to especially thank the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped us during this difficult time providing valued emotional support.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the staff at Moy Health Centre, district nurses and to the Acute Care at Home Team who tended to Peter in his last weeks. Thank you to the staff of Gordons Chemist, Moy. We are especially grateful to the carers who cared for Peter with such kindness, compassion, dignity and respect and whom have become extended family over the last few years.

A special word of thanks to Father Thomas McHugh who led prayers in Peter’s home and celebrated his Requiem Funeral Mass, to Fr John Hughes for his prayers and spiritual support.

Thank you to Benedict J Martin & Son Funeral Services for the compassionate and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements, and the support and guidance they gave the family throughout.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. Peter’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Sunday 30th November at 10am in St John’s Church, Moy.
