The death has occurred of:
Peter McANULLA
12th July 2024
The family of the late Peter would like to express our deep appreciation to all who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Peter was a widely respected gentleman, beloved husband of Ann, dearly loved father of Damien (Louise), Brendan (Aine), Annette (Martin) and Colm (Maeve), devoted grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, neighbour and friend.
We would like to thank everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass or sympathy cards, left messages, and made donations to Chest, Heart & Stroke. A special thank you to those who helped in any way during the wake and to those who provided food and refreshments. We thank Fr Peter McCawille and Fr Daniel McFaul for visiting Peter in the hospital and to Fr Declan Mc Geehan for administering the Last Rites to Peter at home.
We thank Fr Declan McGeehan for his comforting Requiem Mass and to Fr Peter McCawille and to Canon John McKenna who con-celebrated the Mass. Thanks also to Fr Kevin McElhennon and Fr Roland Colhoun for prayers during the wake. We convey our appreciation to all who participated in the Liturgy, Sacristans, Eucharistic Minister and to Sinead Taggart and Damien Cullen who provided the beautiful music during the Mass. Thanks are extended to Charles Lynch (Funeral Director) and Martin Donnelly for their respectful and professional handling of the funeral arrangements and all their guidance offered during this time. Appreciation to all at Knockmoyle Hall and MMB Catering for the refreshments after the burial.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude. Peter’s memory is treasured, his absence deeply felt and we pray that his gentle soul finds peace and eternal rest.
Peter’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 25th August in St Mary’s Church, Knockmoyle at 10am
