Peter’s brother, sisters, and extended family wish to express their appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all who supported them through their recent sad bereavement.
Particular thanks to his cousin Fr Martin Doohan who celebrated the special requiem mass, concelebrated by Fr Chris McDermott. Thanks also to Fr. Tony Devlin, Fr. Liam Blaney, Fr. Albert McNally and Fr. Damian McCaughan for their spiritual support and prayers. To Niamh McGlinchey for the beautiful music and Wishy Drain who prepared the grave.
A special thanks to Mairead Brolly and the staff at Bluegate Residential Home, Garvagh who gave dedicated loving care to Peter over the last year. Our most sincere gratitude to all staff at Causeway hospital who cared and supported Peter with such professionalism and sensitive care during the final weeks of his life.
Thanks to the many friends and neighbours who called at the house, brought food, mass/sympathy cards, donations in lieu of flowers and to the Marian Hall Committee who provided refreshments following the funeral.
To the Northern Trust Learning and Disability teams in Coleraine and Ballymoney particularly Millbrook Roots, his lifelong friend and mentor Robert Black and to everyone (too many to mention) who influenced and encouraged Peter’s amazing life experiences, we offer our eternal thanks.

Mass for your intentions and a celebration of Peter’s life will take place on Friday 14th June 2024 at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church Drumagarner, Kilrea.
