We, the family of the late Peter (Pete) Murphy, wish to offer our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement. We would like to offer our thanks and appreciation to Fr McAleer for his support and the manner in which he conducted the Funeral Mass.
We were extremely comforted and thankful to those who took time to express their sympathy, attended the wake and funeral, and to those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, or forwarded on their condolences personally, by phone or on social media; your words were very much appreciated.
A special word of thanks to our extended family, kind neighbours and friends who were a great source of support to us during the wake and to those who brought food, organised car parking or helped in anyway; we are forever indebted to you.
We are very grateful to Galbally Community Centre for the support provided during the wake and a special mention to Galbally Pearses GAC for their guard of honour at the chapel.
We would like to thank Paudge Quinn for the professional and compassionate manner in which he carried out the funeral arrangements and guidance provided to our family. Thanks also to Lakeland Crematorium, Cavan for the respectful and dignified way the cremation service was undertaken.
Thanks also to the Paramedics and staff at Craigavon Area Hospital for the care and compassion they provided.
A huge thank you to Angela Morgan Philomena Begley and Rory Madden for the most beautiful music which added greatly to the mass and also to the readers and gift bearers.
It would be impossible to thank everyone individually for all support and kindness shown to the family at the time of our loss, but please know it is greatly appreciated.

Pete’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on 28 January in The Church of St John the Baptist, Galbally at 10am.
