Peter O Neill (Manchester / Ackinduff) Died Peacefully in Manchester 21st May 2021 Interred in Ackinduff at St Joseph’s Cemetery. We the family would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who have sympathised and supported us throughout our recent bereavement. Thanks to those who called at the house, who telephoned, who sent messages, cards, flowers, food or helped in any way. We thank Eamon & Sheila O’Neill for hosting the wake, and all extended O’Neill family members accommodating those who travelled for the funeral, their assistance with plans and their support to us through this difficult time.

Thank you to Rosina O’Neill for the flowers, Alskea Contracts for the outside lighting, and Ciaran Holland for internet access to facilitate the streaming of the mass online. We would like to acknowledge the support from friends, neighbours and local community who have given us support in helping us to grieve as a family, also to those who lined the funeral route, attended the funeral and joined the mass via the webcam. Thank you to Paudge, Kerry and all the staff at Quinn’s Corner for the lovey food and hospitality after the funeral mass. A special thank you to Fr Pat Hannigan for a beautiful service and fitting homily which perfectly summed up dad’s life, to the musicians Plunkett McGartland and Sinead Taggart for providing beautiful music thoughout the service, a thank you to Killeeshil community centre for their help and support, to KC Marques for their Marque. A special thanks to Jacqui and Pat of O Kane & Sons Funeral Directors Cookstown for their dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out in both Manchester and Ackinduff, and to the gravediggers who prepared Dads final resting place.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Peter’s month mind mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Assumption Tullyallen at 10am on Saturday 26th June, Also this mass can be viewed on the parish web cam.
