We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Phillip Ward, suddenly at his home, on 5th January 2024.

Late of 48 Westway and formerly of 46 Westway. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Carmel. Devoted father of Séan. A much loved father-in-law of Sharon. Loving granda of Adam, Aimee, Aaron and Emma. A much loved great-granda of Balaneie. Precious son of the late William and Kathleen. Dearest brother of James, Mary, Liam, Anne, Anthony, Bernie, Tom and the late Paddy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Phillip’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 48 Westway from 12pm tomorrow afternoon, Saturday 6th January. Funeral leaving from there on Monday 8th January at 11:20am for 12pm requiem mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Wake house will be strictly private from 11pm until 11am.
