Philomena CURRAN
We, the family of Philomena Mary Curran, Sheskin House Faughanvale, would like to express our sincere gratitude and deep appreciation to our family, friends, neighbours, and members of the wider community who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through the sad loss of our Mum, Mum in law, Nanny and Great Nanny.
We were moved by the sympathy shown to us at the wake, funeral and by all the cards and calls. Thank you to everyone who sent donations to Marie Curie.
Our sincere thanks must go to the Drs Quinn and Brolly Practice, as well as the Social Work Team, Limavady Health Centre, The Enablement Team, The District Nurse Team, Lloyds Pharmacy, Eglinton and Marie Curie Emergency Care.
With the dedicated support of staff from these organisations who went above and beyond, Mum was able to have her wish to pass away at home surrounded by her family.
Special thanks to PP Fr. Noel McDermott, mum found great comfort in her last days with the visits and prayers offered by Fr. Noel, mum passed away with Father praying by her side. The Requiem Mass was a fitting send off for Mum and gave us much comfort, thank you to Fr. Mc Dermott for this as well as family members for the singing, music, readings, gifts and prayers of the faithful and also Ciaran Doherty.
Thanks also go to the church sacristan, carpark stewards and those who helped prepare the grave. Thank you to family members, Currans Catering for the Refreshments.
Our thanks also go to Kieran, Noeleen and the staff at WJ O'Brien & Son who were attentive, understanding and guided us through a difficult time with compassion and professionalism and who carried out the funeral arrangements with dignity and respect.
Mums Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in Star of the Sea, Faughanvale, on Friday 6th January at 7.30 pm
