Frances, Rosaleen, Martina, Martin, Damien, Christopher, and the extended family of the Late Philomena McElhone wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to family, friends and neighbours who supported us during our recent bereavement. Thanks to everyone who sent Mass/sympathy cards, telephoned, condolences via social media or sent floral tributes.
Our thanks is extended to the dedicated team of carers who attended mum day and night. Her special friends Lorna and Ita. The doctors and staff of Loy Medical Centre, district nurses and Marie Currie nurses, the staff of Falls Chemist Cookstown, Cookstown Day Centre, Staff Pendelbury Eyecare, Mary Kelly Chiropodist, Deacon Eamon and Eucharistic Minister Loretta. Your care compassion and support enabled us to keep mum in her own home during her failing health.
We took great comfort from the support of Mum's neighbours in Westland Road, Park, Crescent and Drive and everyone who lined the funeral cortege route and joined us in the Chapel via parish webcam.
A special word of thanks to Fr Lawrence Boyle and Deacon Eamon Quinn for their spiritual support and celebration of Requiem Mass also to Sonlight for the beautiful music.
Thanks to Joanna of Niall A Loughran Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional funeral arrangements, especially in these difficult times. Thanks also to the gravediggers.
We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our heartfelt gratitude.
